Dress Black Milk | Cardi Kmart | Flats Rubi

This is one of my favourite dresses of all time. What I love about it is how the blue fades in and out of the dresses around the cherry blossoms. Just a sweet dress that would suit a more casual setting. A lot of people comment on the dress when ever I'm out which gives me the impression that I made a good choice because it's so pretty!

The cardigan was something I saw randomly on a KMart rack and wanted to have it instantly. It has diamontes all over the front and I bought it specifically to go with this dress. I don't actually use it for any other pieces of clothing. It's almost as though it was made for this dress.

I try to offset this outfit with white shoes at all times. I feel like if I were to match it with blue, it'd be too overpowering. My flats are nothing more than a boring pair of ballet flats and they are really there to get one job done.

Dress ASOS | Vest Flower | Ankle Boots Windsor Smith | Accessories Lovisa & Sportsgirl

You know when you buy a dress online, try it on and are immediately cured of the anxiety that only those who are serial online shoppers are familiar with? This is one of those dresses and one of those times that the gamble paid off.

Stupidly versatile dress that has seen me through various dinners, outings and casual Fridays at work. The flared sleeves are a point of interest. They're gorgeous. Sometimes annoying, but always gorgeous.

Look, it was cold, wet and raining. I wasn't going to make the same mistake of wearing white in the rain again, so an all black outfit felt like the more comfortable choice.

Top Supre | Skirt Cotton On | Jacket Forever 21 | Sneakers Converse | Snapback Culture Kings

I dressed as if I was going to some hipster bar because I am a cool kid. Haha!

I'm a mad snapback and trucker hat collector and when I feel especially tom boyish then my outfits suit to match. The jacket came about through my travels to USA because Forever 21 does not exist in Australia. It reminded my of a letterman jacket which I really love to wear and it's a great casual addition.

Cons are like my saviour. This particular pair are platformed and I feel they are good to walk in because your foot isn't to the floor. They are probably one of my favourite sneakers. I do like to collect sneakers too!

The top was chosen just because it was very colour coordinated to my grey and black theme. Who doesn't like cats though?

Top Team Manila | Jeans Topshop | Flip Flops Havaianas
Sun Glasses Queen Victoria Markets | Rings Topshop

Oh look, our setting has changed slightly - the wall will never be the same again!

Anyway, I dressed initially to go and hang out in some relaxed bar to eat pizza, NOT to settle in a traditional Nepalese restaurant having my mind blown by their style of cooking.

Oh well, I repped my husband's Team Manila top. Actually it's mine, because it looks way better on me than it does on him. And these jeans? I have a hard time with jeans - I'll have you all know that right now. So when I found jeans in Topshop, TOPSHOP OF ALL PLACES, I was ecstatic. These are the comfiest, most flattering jeans I have ever owned.

Dress Ally Fashion  | Sandals KMart | Necklace Far East Plaza

I never really thought much about dusty pink as a colour that would suit me. But I'm glad I bought this dress as it's now my go to dress for weddings and is pretty neat to wear for a day outing.

My sandals are from Kmart but I don't wear sandals often enough and therefore don't mind being a bit cheapo when it comes to buying them. I only wear them once or twice a year and then then are neglected. They definitely get the job done though!

My floral collared necklace is a cute addition to an otherwise plain outfit and it adds a bit of a subtle touch.

Thought my outfit was versatile enough to go anywhere that day. Need to cover all bases right?

Pullover Bonds | Leggings Lululemon | Sneakers Supra | Necklaces Sportsgirl

I'd recently gone on a bit of a shopping spree at the Southbank DFO. It was really just to replace a pair of plimsolls I managed to throw up after a rather intense night of clubbing in Manila, last November.

The overwhelming sadness I felt the next day is indescribable.

These runners are super light weight and are made out of very breathable material - very comfortable... which is what I wanted to be for lunch!

Blouse Uniqlo  | Skirt KMart | Heels Rivers

I think I had an interview and that's what prompted this outfit. Definitely a big fan of polkadots and navy plagues my wardrobe since I support the Geelong Cats. I think polkadots are cute and my top matched my umbrella which was a bonus too!

I have way too many skater skirts and regularly wear them with a simple tee and sneakers. Just an easy piece of clothing to style with. Definitely a staple in my mind. Forgive me if you see my wearing skater skirts regularly in my pics :)

My shoes were a rare find, I was in Harbour Town in Perth and I always thought Rivers sold boots and sandals. To my surprise they did dress shoes too and what attracted me most to this pair was the frilled middle section of the shoe. It adds an element of girliness and how sweet and charming they are!

T-Shirt Peter Alexander | Leggings Lululemon | Boots Windsor Smith | Necklaces Sportsgirl

I love Melbourne rainy days. I really, really do, but wearing white is probably, 100%, definitely a mistake. Also a bit silly for what would be a bit of a messy crab adventure.

Unsure what I was thinking there but in any case, I committed to this outfit and somehow came out unscathed. Woot.

I've got a few leggings from Lululemon and can attest to their durability and versatility - for both an active lifestyle and day to day general wear. They're great for my shape as well and I also enjoy the fact that they are a little thicker.

Coupled with this soft basic tee, (which, okay fine, is a pyjama tee, does my face look like it cares?) made for a very comfy dressed down look.

Dress Black Milk | Cardigan Temt | Leggings Kmart | Flats Rubi

If you can't already tell, I'm a Black Milk girl. I especially love the skater dresses that they have and you'll typically see me wearing them over and over. I especially like this dress for the Koi fish design as it mixes Japanese and Chinese artistry. Who doesn't love wearing art?

My shoes were hell cheap at $5 during a Rubi online sale. I like these kinds of bargains as I do wear a lot of flats and surprisingly, these have lasted me more than 2 years.

One of our adoring fans had to be kept in check by Grumpy Mate Rich. Please exercise some restraint, little one and stay behind the barriers.

Dress Tee We Too Are One  | Leggings H&M | Kicks Converse | Necklace Topshop

Every now and again, IJDGAF. This is what I look like when I have one of these episodes.

I threw on a baggy dress tee by a label that was stocked at a boutique I used to work at; the label was called We Too are One. Unfortunately, they appear to have dropped off the face of the earth since I stopped working there almost five years ago. Poops.

Coupled with my cute leather chucks from last year's Chinese New Year collection and I was ready to take on a day of casual indulgence.

Dress Black Milk | Cardigan Temt | Flats Target | Lipstick Bourjois

My mood will determine how I dress. This is one of my girly girl outfits perfect for one of Melbourne's cool summer days. I like skater dresses/skirts and try to embody the 1950s era of poodle and circle skirts paired with a cardigan.

I try to keep one colour theme throughout all my outfits and red was clearly the agenda that day. My favourite part of this outfit was the lipstick - goes on liquid, comes out matte. A girl can never have too many shades of red lipstick.

Crop Stradivarius | Maxi Skirt Stradivarius | D'Orsay Flats Shubar
Clutch Tony Bianco | Necklace Topshop

This is basically my lazy girl go to outfit throughout the summer months - a maxi dress or a maxi skirt and top. Chic without the effort!

I like a bit of edginess when I style, so it's a plus if I can find a maxi that represents that a little that doesn't compromise on soft feminine lines. The crop is a little boxy on me so I draw that in on the waist with a belt to keep it a little more tailored.

Throw on some accessories and you have this dark, windcaller outfit perfect for anytime after the sun sets.
