What: Dinner When: 10 December, 2015
Where: Din Tai Fung, Melbourne CBD
My mood will determine how I dress. This is one of my girly girl outfits perfect for one of Melbourne's cool summer days. I like skater dresses/skirts and try to embody the 1950s era of poodle and circle skirts paired with a cardigan.
I try to keep one colour theme throughout all my outfits and red was clearly the agenda that day. My favourite part of this outfit was the lipstick - goes on liquid, comes out matte. A girl can never have too many shades of red lipstick.
This is basically my lazy girl go to outfit throughout the summer months - a maxi dress or a maxi skirt and top. Chic without the effort!
I like a bit of edginess when I style, so it's a plus if I can find a maxi that represents that a little that doesn't compromise on soft feminine lines. The crop is a little boxy on me so I draw that in on the waist with a belt to keep it a little more tailored.
Throw on some accessories and you have this dark, windcaller outfit perfect for anytime after the sun sets.
